C9C Miniature Load Cell: For Measurement of Compressive Forces

The compact and cost-effective C9C type series force sensors reliably measure tensile and compressive force where space is limited. Due to their high fundamental frequency, they are suitable for very fast measurements. Like all strain gauge-based transducers, the U9C sensors also allow for static forces to be measured with long-term stability. They ensure both robustness and plug and measure solution due to their welded design from stainless steel and flexible to order concept. Available as passive load cell or with hard-wired inline amplifier with analogue or digital output signals.

  • HBK accuracy class: 0.2
  • Capacities: 50N to 50kN
  • Output signals: mV/V (passive), 0...10 V, 4 ...20 mA or IO-Link

New: With the new option "VAIO" the C9C comes along with an digital inline - amplifier and IO-Link interface. Your advantages:

Improved reliability: The Sensor health monitoring of the C9C sends warnings in case of exceeding temperature or mechanical limits before problems occur

More information: Statistical information such as number of sampels or mean value are available

Lower costs, easy setup: The C9C with the VAIO option comes along as adjusted sensor. When connected to an IO-Link master you will get immediately correct readings in Newtons. Low cabling costs.

Standard instrument features: Limit switches, peak detection, digital output, filter

Fast: Internal sampling rate: 40 kHz, 0.9 ms cycling time to the IO-Link master.

Greater precision: Use your calibration and improve the linearity of your C9C

The benefits of all C9C:

Small, dynamic and robust

  • Small diameter and flat design
  • Welded design from stainless steel; EMC-tested
  • High stiffness and small masses, leading to high fundamental frequency
  • Highly flexible cable, suitable for drag chains, resistance against most oils

Besides being compact, the sensor is robust, EMC-tested, and delivers reliable results. It is ideal for measuring fast processes.

Immediately ready for use

  • Various practical cable lengths, cable is suitable for drag chains and fuel-resistant
  • If chosen without in-line amplifier: TEDS available and available with a mounted plug for all HBK measuring amplifiers on request

Time-saving plug-and-play sensors ideally suited for industrial environments.

Optionally available with integrated amplifier

  • Industrial standard interfaces available: 0...10 V, 4...20 mA or IO-Link
  • Measurement chain instead of sensor: No need to configure the measuring amplifier
  • Analogue or digital: Coming along as calibrated measurement chains, simplified set-up process
  • Cost effective due to reduced cable costs and simplyfied integration. No space in the cabinet required

Easier integration, less costs and more reliability with the amplifier options
